Project Description

Mapping Adventure

HOW WE TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO US

Brief

Maps.com wanted to increase visitors to its maps site. The company sells street maps, globes, educational maps, games, and many other products that incorporate geography.

Beach Betty Creative was tasked with creating strong, quality content to attract readers who would ultimately buy Maps.com products. However, the content had to be genuine, have a strong standalone interest, and with a gentle, subtle sales call to purchase Maps.com products as an enhancement to their travel goals:

  • Content Marketing

  • Providing Photos

Deliverables

Maps.com is in the business of selling maps online to a wide variety of customers. They needed a way to reach those customers in a non-salesy, fun, and lively way, and that’s exactly what we delivered to them. We provided blog posts that advised people on the topics like “The Single Girl’s Guide to Navigating Valentine’s Day,” “Epic Hot Springs That’ll Warm You This Winter,” or “Camping in the Snow: 5 Winter Wonderlands.” The search engine optimized monthly posts provided interesting, intriguing content about far off places, or nearby places seen from a different perspective, all with subtle links to Maps.com products that aid in the readers next adventure.
