Brief

Santa Barbara County Fair

For the last four years Beach Betty Creative has contracted with the Santa Maria Fairpark, a state agency, to promote its two biggest events, including the Santa Barbara County Fair, which attracts 145,000 people annually. The Fairpark wanted to increase its social media presence, gain more media exposure, and of course, attract more visitors, while increasing profits.

Deliverables

Marketing efforts have focused on increasing online outreach and audience engagement, specifically through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram platforms. Lead initiatives have included contests specifically designed to generate a boost in new traffic, by relying on loyal fans spreading the word to their social circles.

Media outreach activities have been designed to find new story angles to generate media excitement.
